2008年11月我校与文船公司举办第七届英语演讲比赛，本届演讲比赛得到文船公司领导高度重视，比赛结束公司领导为获奖者颁发证书与合影。并对我校教学予以充分肯定。

My Company ,  My Home
   As a student graduated from shipbuilding major , It is my honor to join in Guangzhou Wenchong shipyard .  I still remember a sentence from an old colleague. He said : “Our shipyard is your second home !”
Actually right! I feel warm in this place. I have found a feeling called “Home”.
  The first time when I came to this place .I found every person is strange but passionate and friendly. The leaders care us a lot. They gave us good arrangement for our accommodation. They even encouraged us to give out our demand for daily life. In order to make us to live and work in Guangzhou well .The ministry of personnel arranged very wonderful training before we went back to our position. From the history of our company to our occupation programming.  From the Guangzhou culture to our daily life………we have learned a lot.
    Some times, I feel our company is like a college. The graduated students came from every part of our country. Most of them are very excellent. We can harmonious to live together. And I Found many of them have the same college with me. We played basketball together. We went to swim together. We played table tennis together. We work together ……
   It is very tired to work in workshop and out of workshop. But it is a way that we can accumulate knowledge and experience directly. In that place, I can feel how hard shipbuilding job is. How complex the ship ’s structure is! And I also got the notion that we need more intelligence and sweat during shipbuilding work. I still remember the first time I saw the ship slip into the water. I can find happiness from the worker’s tired eyes. Even thought there is no my participation, I still feel proud for our shipbuilding job.
       Today’s speech competition will be an unforgetful shining star in my memory. So does the Mid-Autumn day’s party, the military training, and the basketball match. For the existence of good memory in the past, we also need a fascinate future .I would like to do my part for our company’s future!
